Refreshing your safety training

The following courses need to be completed annually.

• Data Protection and Freedom of Information
• Information Security Training with Cybsafe

The following courses  need to be completed every three years (or earlier if significant content change is required)

• UCL fire safety 
• UCL safety induction 
• Introduction to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
• Change possible: Sustainable UCL
• Disclosing and Managing Conflict of Interest
• Prevent at UCL

Need to re-complete if the work location changes,

• Local Fire Safety Induction
• Local Safety Induction Training

To refresh your fire safety training,

• Re-complete the UCL fire safety training module
• Re-read the department Fire Safety information, noting any changes to fire escape routes
• Undertake a self-led ‘fire walk’ from their usual workspaces to the building fire assembly area, so you are familiar with the route.
• Record the training on the department MyInfo service. You will need your completion certificate from the UCL fire safety module to complete the record.

For staff, H&S training refresher training should be identified as part of the annual appraisal process.
