CST
Compute server for CST
CST users can submit jobs to the CST Solver server for GPU processing. The details for this are:

In order to use the CST solver server you must be running the same version of the software as the solver server.
Submitting jobs to the server
To set up CST to submit jobs to the GPU server (Distributed Computing), perform the following steps:
- Start CST 2024
- Click on the “File” menu and then select “Options”
- Click on the “Distributed Computing” list item
- Server name or IP address: cst-server.ee.ucl.ac.uk
- Port: 36700
- Click on “Okay” to save
To set up a project to submit processing to the GPU server:
- Open the CST project
- Select “Set up Solver” from the menu bar in CST
- Click on the “Acceleration” button
- Configure your CPU and Hardware acceleration as desired
- Check the Distributed Computing items and set parameters as desired
- Click on the “DC Properties” button
- “Use Global Settings” and “Use specified DC Solver Servers” should be checked
- Click on the “Connected DC Solver Servers…” button and check if the Solver Server is available
- Click “Okay” until you return to the main “Time Domain Solver Parameters” window
- If you are happy with your settings, click the “Start” button
