Hardware

All hardware that is to be used on machines connected to the EE LAN MUST be purchased either via IT support staff, or after consultation with IT support staff

There are a number of rules and regulations governing which companies we are allowed to purchase from. IT staff can get you the best available pricing from UCL contracted IT suppliers.

Software

Please make sure that you speak to support staff before purchasing any software. We will make you aware of any special UCL/academic pricing and will make sure that the appropriate licencing scheme is used

UCL has a number of centrally managed software licencing schemes that provide software at discounted rates.

You can view what software is available on the Software Database. This is maintained by ISD (Information Systems Division) and you will need to login with your ISD userid/password.
